Tier One Driver - Keith Rodda

Promising Rally Driver

- Rally Cross Racing -

Conquering the twisted, unforgiving tree lined gravel roads of the untamed wild at speeds often above the posted Freeway Speeds might seem extreme or downright insane. For many, it is the ultimate goal to a career that starts out in Rally Cross. Drivers like Keith Rodda and so many others have discovered the thrill of Rally Racing in the controlled environment of a Rally Cross venue. Just like a Stage Rally, (only without the Trees, Ditches and Cliffs) it is a race against the clock more that other competitors. A race against the odds. A mental game of riding the cutting edge while negotiating unknown conditions. NOT for the faint of heart!

2005 Oregon Rally Group Rally Cross Competition -

After three events in the Oregon Rally Group's SCCA Rally Cross Competition, Keith is just out of the top 10 but moving up fast. This season is a testing season with his Subaru GL as he works through the usual development issues with any new race car. Keith decided to step up the the Open Class this year, rather than compete in his usual class, to learn from the other competitors and gain an edge by bringing a relatively stock car into competitive range of an Open Class Car. Definitely the "crash course" in competitive driving. You have to admire his charge!

Keith hopes to continue the development of his car to campaign it at the first ever NORPAC Divisional Championships held later this year in Salem, Oregon.

Keith is an avid Rally Fan and Volunteer with years of dedicated service to the North West Rally scene through groups like the Oregon Rally Group and Pacific Rally Group in Washington State. He has countless hours on the Stages of Oregon Trail Rally, Mt. Hood Club Rally, Wild West, Doo Wops and many more. Keith is a highly visible part of the Rally Machine and plans to increase his exposure and participation in all levels of these events in the near future.
